the ice is slowly melting

dear michigan weather, please figure it out. you snow for days then the sun comes 

out and melts everything and all of the sudden it's almost 60 degrees 

(in january!)... but i still love you.

not much has been going on lately. saturday dale and i went to a few estate sales and

thrift stores. i got a(nother) pair of cowboy boots and a few other things.

one of my best friends was in town saturday night from nashville. her roommates band 

was playing a show, so i met up with her for drinks and catching up. 

sunday dale and i went to brunch then i finally got around to taking the christmas

tree and decorations down (i know i'm horrible) and spent the rest of the night reading.
